These Terms of Service (hereinafter "ToS") define the terms and conditions for using the VoxBoo service (hereinafter the "Service"), published by Daniel LASKA SCHIRALLI EI.
VoxBoo is a macOS intelligent voice dictation application that uses artificial intelligence to transcribe and transform voice into adapted text through specialized profiles called "VoxBoos".
Using the Service implies full and complete acceptance of these ToS.
Access to the Service requires creating a user account with a valid email address and password.
The User agrees to provide accurate and up-to-date information. They are responsible for the confidentiality of their login credentials.
The User must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
VoxBoo allows the User to: dictate text via their Mac's microphone, transcribe voice to text in real time using the Voxtral API (Mistral AI), transform text through specialized profiles (VoxBoos): raw transcription, meeting notes, translation, LinkedIn posts, and more.
The Service is available as a monthly or annual subscription, with access to all available VoxBoos.
VoxBoo also supports BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) mode, allowing the User to use their own Mistral or OpenAI API keys.
The Service subscription is available via the Apple App Store at the prices displayed on the application listing.
Payment is managed by Apple via the App Store. The subscription is automatically renewed at each billing period unless cancelled by the User.
The User can manage their subscription (modification, cancellation) from their Apple account settings.
The User may cancel their subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
No refunds will be issued for partial billing periods. The User retains access to the Service until the end of the paid period.
The User agrees to use the Service in accordance with its intended purpose and applicable laws.
It is prohibited to: use the Service for illegal or fraudulent purposes, attempt to circumvent the Service's security measures, resell or redistribute access to the Service, use the Service to generate hateful, defamatory content or content that infringes on the rights of third parties.
All elements of the Service (software, design, brand, VoxBoos, documentation) are the exclusive property of Daniel LASKA SCHIRALLI EI.
The User retains intellectual property rights over texts generated from their dictations.
The subscription grants only a personal, non-exclusive right to use the Service.
The processing of personal data is detailed in our Privacy Policy available at /privacy.
Voice recordings are processed in real time and are not stored by VoxBoo. Only data necessary for account and subscription management is retained.
VoxBoo is provided "as is". The Publisher does not guarantee the absence of errors in transcriptions or text transformations.
The Publisher shall not be held liable for indirect damages resulting from the use of the Service, including data loss or loss of business opportunities.
The Publisher commits to implementing the necessary means to ensure Service availability, without guarantee of results.
The Publisher reserves the right to modify these ToS at any time. Users will be notified by email or in-app notification.
Continued use of the Service after modification constitutes acceptance of the new ToS.
These ToS are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable resolution. Failing that, the competent courts of Paris shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
